The foods that we eat are the foods that our cells use to build and restore skin health. So even though skincare products help nourish and protect our skin topically, a poor diet will show up in our skin.

Consuming a diet rich in antioxidant potent juicy fruits, vegetables and super foods will provide the body with the building blocks it needs to rejuvenate the skin.

Eating a 'beauty food' rich diet contributes towards:

  1. An increase in skin hydration, which prevents a loss of elasticity

  2. Restoration of collagen, which keeps the skin plump and youthful

  3. The prevention of cellular rusting occurring too fast, too soon (cellular rusting is like what happens to an apple, only for us it occurs inside our bodies and shows up as wear and tear, ageing, poor health and chronic disease)

  4. A decrease in inflammation

  5. A slowing down of the overall ageing process

  6. An increase in energy and alertness

  7. Weight loss, if part of a calorie controlled diet

  8. A reduction in menopausal symptoms
