Common Q & A About Nudge Shampoo Tabs
Updated: Jan 24
Do your bars foam up?
Nudge tablets create a thick dense foam.
How do I use them?
Thoroughly wet hair. Rub shampoo tablet over hair a few times to lather it up. Gently rub into the scalp and hair as you would with a liquid Shampoo. Rinse out and if required, apply conditioner.
How long will one tablet last?
If you have medium to long hair and wash your hair every day, you can expect your bar to last at least 2 weeks. If you have short cropped hair, one tablet will last up to 1 month.
How do I store my tablets?
The BEST way to store your bar is to wrap it in a facial cloth or put it into one of our shampoo bags immediately after use. This will stop your bar from being broken down by excess water and help your bar stay solid until the end.
Do I have to wait for a transition period before my hair gets use to your shampoo?
Absolutely not! Nudge Shampoo Tablets perform just like a liquid shampoo.
If you have been told your hair needs to go through a transition period you have probably been sold a bar of soap!. These are not the same as solid shampoo made from surfactants (the ingredient that cleanses hair in liquid shampoo). Read more about this here
Shampoo bars normally leave my hair waxy or greasy, will your formulation do the same thing?
Soap shampoo can leave the hair feeling waxy and some shampoo bars that contain high amounts of butters and oils will leave the hair feeling greasy. Nudge Shampoo tablets are formulated to leave leave the hair feeling light, soft and glossy!
Some bars leave my scalp itchy and my hair dry, will your formulation to do the same?
This can be the result of using soap or sulphate based shampoo. Our bars are not soap and do not contain sulphates. They are ph friendly, so very gentle on hair and scalp.
